About

Errata Press

Some silences are errata we never correct.

Errata Press began as an imaginary imprint — the kind of publishing house that might have existed in the margins of the 19th century, printing the books no one else dared to bind. We deal in the literature of shadows and libraries: Gothic heroines, gaslit corridors, ink-stained manuscripts, and the quiet defiance of women who read too much.

Every piece we print is a small correction to the record — a line pulled from a forgotten page and given a second life. If you have ever underlined a sentence until the paper wore thin, if your favorite room is a library after closing hours, this shelf was built for you.

We are not a publishing house. We are the ghost of one.
